The vast majority of the world’s antibiotics are used on farmed animals in order for them to survive the intense conditions. Doesn’t that sound crazy? And to make things worse, it’s almost certainly causing increasing resistance in humans and is a serious threat to global public health. Why is this not treated as a public emergency?
LEFSON: 'The black ‘base’ of the artwork was painted and left to dry. In the following session, the pig painted the blue mouth. At first it reminded me of a fish, butI decided to focus the shape to be a mouth with the challenge of creating other features. It was an experiment: using her nose-tip ‘signature’ process to create the eyes. I just had to position the paper correctly and use divine intervention for the placement of her nose. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you make your own luck.
